Engaging the services of an escort is no different to that of any other industry. You the client, are paying for services that the escort or agency are willing to provide.
Yet there is a substantial difference to be aware of. Unlike other industries and professional services such as physical therapy, remedial massage, or building and construction; escorts will only provide a service once a payment has been made.
This is simply due to that fact that once given, their goods for service can not be taken back should a client fail or outright refuse to pay them for their time. Furthermore, unlike many allied health professions or dine-in restaurants where payment is made after service has been given, the risk of clients running off without payment is much higher for sex workers then for any other professionals.

How Are Escort Payments Processed?
Each escort or agency has their own preferred methods of payment. This could range from the traditional cash payment, to eftpos and credit card payments, PayPal or even Bitcoin.
It is advised that if you are making a cash payment, then it needs to be exact change. Very rarely, if ever, would an escort carry enough change to break a $50 or $100. This is not their way of trying to force a tip; it is more for their own security and you should not take offense if they are unable to provide you with enough change.
The escort may carry a mobile eftpos machine, PayPal Here card reader, or use a phone app to process debit and credit cards. Some may even allow digital transfers of electronic funds, but this is usually limited to their regular clients only.
We would advise that you need to confirm their accepted methods of payment prior to making your booking. You can not force an individual escort or an establishment to accept a method of payment that they do not want to be dealing with. This includes, but not limited to, Bitcoin and gold exchange.
When Are Payments Made?
Payment is made prior to any services taking place. When both parties (the escort and yourself) are happy to proceed, and have agreed on what service(s) is to be provided; you the client make your payment to the escort or agency via their chosen method of payment.
If you are attending a brothel and have booked an appointment, you may be required to pay a room booking fee prior to your arrival. Generally room booking fees are taken to ensure that if someone fails to arrive for their appointment, no money is lost as they are usually non refundable. Although this is a separate charge to the services that the escort will be offering, it could be taken in account for the overall cost of the experience, but this is not always the case.
What Happens if You Change Your Mind?
As we mentioned in our opening statement, an escort is under no obligation to provide you with their services until payment has been made. Therefore it is highly unlikely that they would do so, especially if you are a new client.
But this does not mean that you must make your payment prior to your appointment; especially if you are a new client. This is because, you as a client, are under no obligation to pay for a service you do not want, and until you’ve actually met with your escort, you’ve no way of telling if they’ll peak your interest.
If you change your mind or get cold feet after handing over the money, you can not, nor should not, ask for your money back. Only if the escort has refused to provide you with the service that was agreed upon prior to their payment, do you have any recourse in demanding a refund; as they have failed to provide the agreed upon service that they were paid for.
With that said, an escort has no control over your own bodily functions, so if you are unable to perform, climax too quickly or are unable to finish the deed in the allocated time frame, that is your problem and responsibility to manage, not theirs.
What Should I do if a Different Escort Turns Up?
In the event that an escort or agency has intentionally mislead you by misrepresenting themselves in their advertisement; you are under non obligation to proceed, and are free to walk way without parting with any of your money.
While we wish we could say that this never happens; there are times when the escort that arrives is not the escort that you thought you were going to see. They could be of a different age, race, body type, height or even gender.
If you are not comfortable with this difference of expectation, or you do not find the escort in front of you to be to your liking, then do not proceed.
If they attempt to muscle or threaten you in order to coerce the money from you; report them to the authorities. Prostitution is not illegal in Australia and you will not be prosecuted for it, and should any escort or agency act in a unlawful manner, they need to be reported.
How Can I Avoid Being Mislead?
Our advice would be to simply do your research. Read through the user reviews and review scores. Look for any red flag reviews where client(s) have found that the escort who turned up, is not the escort they thought they were going to get. If anyone else has found that the profile and/or advertisements do not match the person who arrived, take this as an indicator that you may experience the same.
While it may be true that someone who’s new to the industry or not that well known, may not have much in the way of user reviews, they should still be offering some form of online profile, be it Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or even here in our classifieds, for you to have a look at.
Check to see when the profile was last updated. If no new images have been uploaded in a while, then chances are that the escort may not look like they did in their older photos anymore.
If the escort is new to the industry, but has a respectable online presence, yet is still lacking in the way of user reviews numbers, feel free to give them a go and leave your own review. Who knows they may be will worth every cent.
But if someone offers no photographic proof of what their current body type is like, has no user reviews, or worse yet has zero online presence, then you realistically have no idea of who they might be. In cases like these, we would advise user discretion.
They may however, be fairly new to the industry and inexperienced enough to not know how to best advertise for themselves. What if You Were Disappointed, Can You Get Your Money Back?
Generally speaking, no.
Unfortunately there will come a time in ever man’s life where things just don’t go the way they were expecting. A skilled and experienced escort will attempt to make you as relaxed and comfortable as possible, in order to help give you the best experience they possible can.
But expectations and reality don’t always meet. Sometimes despite their best efforts, things just don’t mesh. Your timing and rhythm may not match. One or the other may not be as physically fit as the other person, and they may have a hard time keeping up.
